28番札所、法界山大日寺です。こちらのお寺は江戸時代には「関所寺」の役割もしていたそうです。 山門から自然石の綺麗に組まれた階段と石畳が、非常に味わい深いお寺です。 今回の凸凹同行記は・・・ ここ法界山大日寺には爪で彫られたという「爪彫り薬師」が祀られています。 それを聞いて、「へえ～。お大師様も大変やねえ。」とごんた。 お大師様が何故たくさんの仏像を刻み、たくさんのお寺を建てたのか、たけやんが教えてくれます。
