第四十三番札所、源光山明石寺。「あかしじ」ではなく「めいせきじ」と読みます。 いかにも『山の道場』という、凛とした雰囲気の札所です。 こちらのお寺で印象深いのが、建造物に施された鳳凰や龍など信仰上の動物の彫り物の素晴らしさです。 今回の凸凹同行記は・・・ 『明石寺』と言う名前から『明石焼き』を想像して幸せそうなごんた。 「食べ物のことになると・・・」とあきれるたけやん。 実はこちらの明石寺、 かつては非常に厳しい決まりのある道場だったそうです。
