今回のお参りは第六十七番札所、小松尾山・大興寺です。 不動光院という院号から、ご本尊は不動様かと思いがちですが、ご本尊は薬師如来様です。 山門には香川県の有形文化財に指定された、身の丈3mはあろうかという 立派な仁王像。その迫力に、ため息の出る3人です。 今回の凸凹同行記は・・・ 山門の立派な仁王像に、感嘆の声をあげるごんた。 鎌倉期の運慶作である事を説明する、博識のたけやん。 ただ、頭部だけが江戸時代に作り替えられたものらしいのですが、それが 『八百屋お七』に関連があるそうです・・・
