Ursprünglich bestand die erste, limitierte Abfüllung von Sanaig aus Bourbonfässern und einem Teil Sherryfässern. Nun wurde die Fasszusammensetzung etwas umgestellt und der Großteil des Single Malts reift in Sherryfässern, hauptsächlich Oloroso.
