A jealous boyfriend's rage turned deadly when he drowned his girlfriend in a shallow pond. Robert McWhir pressed Marissa Aldrich's face into the water during a drunken argument, then told detectives she was just a "drunken idiot" who fell in. He even answered his phone while she was dying. A jury saw through his lies and convicted him of murder, sentencing him to life in prison.
