Kim Herschaft-Kim Herschaft

The show's guest, Kim Elizabeth Herschaft, was born and raised in Maine. She's a military wife and was living on a military base in Satellite Beach, Florida in 1996, when she became critically ill with an overwhelming infection. It was during that time she had her NDEs, one which seemed purgatory-like. She says it left a profound imprint on the way she lives and thinks. After her NDE, the family returned to Maine in 1998. Kim has worked in several hospitals since her illness and one as an administrative coordinator with social services and spiritual care.
