Former FT stylist, turned Business Coach for Stylist, Kim Kennedy is OBSESSED with HAIR + BUSINESS (when she’s not listening to True Crime podcasts). She always envisioned teaching to be something she would do at the end of her career but when her coaching business took off it was ‘’scary fufilling’’! Kim, a mom to a 2 + 7 year old, is an 18-Year Stylist and now helps other stylists create a successful career behind the chair that doesn’t take over their life. She shares all the things she wished she knew and learned from hitting ''rock bottom'’ burnout. She got resourceful and it paid off! Now, she teaches other moms to share their purpose and gifts and do what they love. Always a booth renter, Kim sttruggled first 8-10 years in her career and worked 2 jobs to pay bills; last 10 years worked at amazing salon. When she had a baby she didn’t want to have a gap in her day sitting at the salon when she could have another client or be home with her baby. After realizing she had been ''emotionally discounting'' (not charging) $1000 in services per month, things changed when she treated it like biz. She new she couldn’t go back to work part-time without the right systems in place. As a new mom working 3 days a week she doubled her previous full-time income!
