Kim Stone, Washington Spirit CEO, joins Sports Business Radio for a conversation. Stone discusses her career as a sports business executive that spans nearly 30 years and includes roles with the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors and she takes us inside the business of the Washington Spirit of the NWSL. Stone works closely with owner Michele Kang overseeing Kang's pro soccer team portfolio. Stone was part of the effort to sign star Trinity Rodman to a record-setting women’s soccer contract. The Washington Spirit are one of the top teams in the NWSL and advanced to last year’s NWSL championship match. Audi Field will play host to the 2026 NWSL championship match this November.
