Kim Thayil of Soundgarden

Kim joins Matt to talk about his new memoir, A Screaming Life: Into the Superunknown with Soundgarden and Beyond. We go deep into the history of Soundgarden, including talking about some of their very first recordings. Kim revisits the glory years and the sound of some of their key records. We also discuss hanging out with the Ramones, getting Brian May on one of their songs and how classic rock helped to influence their career in some interesting ways.
