from And We're Rolling with Stephanie Hunt · host Stephanie Hunt

Send us Fan MailWell, dear listeners, as you know, we’ve recorded interviews with amazing women all around the world - Beirut, New York, Mazatlán, Doha, Delhi and now the mighty Nairobi - one of my favourite cities.Kimberley Leonard is a Kenyan international news anchor, reporter and producer. Her career has spanned across TV and radio newsrooms in Nairobi, Dubai, Doha and of course now London where in her current role she’s on-air for 6 hours continuously, delivering rolling news at Sky News UK.Growing up, the Sky News UK World News bulletin would always play in her house. Her beloved late father was a keen viewer. Kimberley talks about feeling intimidated the first time she herself presented that very bulletin - and her wish that her father could see her now.We chat about her process ahead of key interviews like the Kenyan President and the steps she takes to prepare a sort of ‘safety net’ before jumping into breaking news.We also dissect the sweet spot when it comes to sleep - not too much and not little - plus the story that brought Kimberley to tears live on air.SHOW NOTES:Kimberley's Twitter: @kimberleyeleoKimberley's Instagram: @kimberley_leonardNeed help with your next media appearance?
