Actress/Writer DirectorBorn in Jamaica, Kimberly and her family immigrated to Canada when she was 5.  All of a sudden, she was an outsider.  She struggled to find her voice, then claimed it by insisting on being called Kimberly instead of Kim.  She fell in love with the French language, which led her to Paris and a modeling career.  After a couple of years, she decided to f*ck her comfort zone, quit and auditioned for Circle in the Square Theatre School.  Within 3 years, she was a series regular in Canada.  Two years later she moved to LA.  Her credits include Self Made with Octavia Spencer and Tiffany Haddish, The Blacklist and Rookie Blue, and the recent Oprah Winfrey series, The Kings of Napa.  Margie and Kimberly talk about the challenges and victories in f*ing your comfort zone.  Kimberly shares her audition stories, what it’s like to create characters in a period piece and meeting Robert DeNiro.  www.kimberlyhuie.com
