Kimberly Woodson: A juvenile lifer who got a second chance

Getting a second chance at life due to Montgomery v Alabama that made it unconstitutional for juveniles to receive life sentences, now understanding that our children are being placed in situations their brains arent developed enough to understand or evaluate, Kimberly was one of the few that turned her experiences into a positive one. Now home and a community leader and outreach for so many people left in the struggle, she now has created legislation to help reduce some of the prison population and allow those that deserve to come home from egregious over sentencing issues.
