The book "The Epitome of Kimmy" details her abandonment at 5 years old when her parents just gave her to her Aunt while her sister stayed with Kimmy's parents. Then later as a teenager her sexual abuse from a relative. She has overcome a lot and is in a good place and now is a author and Case Manager for the State in which she loves to help families in need. She is Christian and lives her faith.
