Words have weight, and power and even somewhat magical abilities. When we use the kind ones, the helpful words, the honest and supporting phrases, we can build ourselves and others up. Words can also hurt us, and stay in our head long after the speaker has forgotten them. This song uses gentle metaphors marrying kind words and phrases with different kinds of weather because maybe the feeling of words is just as important as their dictionary meanings.
