KINDNESS IN ACTION

Scripture: Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Kindness is more than a feeling—it’s a choice, an action, a reflection of Christ's love. In a world often marked by harshness and division, kindness shines as a powerful witness of God's character. Paul urges believers to be kind and compassionate, extending the same mercy and grace they themselves have received. True kindness is not just shown when it’s convenient or easy, but especially when it costs us—our time, comfort, or pride. It’s the gentle word in a tense moment, the helping hand when no one is watching, the forgiveness offered even when it’s undeserved. Compassion moves us to see others through God’s eyes and respond with grace. Jesus modeled this beautifully. His life was filled with acts of kindness toward the broken, the outcast, and even His enemies. When we choose kindness, we reflect His heart and open doors for healing and hope in others’ lives. Today, ask yourself: Is my kindness limited to feelings, or is it shown through action? Who can I bless today with compassion, grace, and love? Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for the kindness You’ve shown me through Christ. Help me to be compassionate and forgiving, reflecting Your love to those around me. Use my actions today to bring healing and encouragement. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
