Getting ready for the new year and ALWAYS ready SPREAD KINDESS! Now, more than ever...being KINDS is SO IMPORTANT! And some really great news? The Boys & Girls Clubs are ALL about it. They spread Kindness, even TEACH IT TO THEIR KIDS with their Kindness is Free program.  Powered by Boys & Girls Clubs, it's a local initiative created in 2020 by the Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley & Eastside, a remarkable program, spearheaded by visionary Lori Milgard and the Club’s CEO, JR Dzubak. In just 5+ years, it has blossomed into a movement within the clubs, local schools, churches and reaching more and more every day! Aired December 28, 2025: In this podcast, Lisa Foxx interviews Scott Ehlers, the Chief Kindness Strategist of the Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley & Eastside in Monterey Park. They discuss all the ways they teach kindness to kids, adults, the significance of taking the 'Kindness Pledge' AND how WE can get involved to further spread this important movement of being KIND. At its core, Kindness is Free aims to encourage a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and respect among the next generation of youth.
