King Charles addressing Congress; James Comey indicted again

from The Charlie James Show Podcast

In the first hour and first segment of the April 28, 2026, edition of The Charlie James Show, Charlie James opened with a high-energy breakdown of two major national stories: King Charles III’s historic joint address to Congress and the second indictment of former FBI Director James Comey. James analyzed the King's message of solidarity following the recent shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, while framing Comey’s indictment—sparked by a cryptic social media post of seashells that allegedly read "86 47"—as a flashpoint in the administration's ongoing "lawfare" battles. Throughout the segment, James connected these headlines to the local mood in the Upstate, debating how such high-stakes political drama might influence voter sentiment ahead of the June 9th primary in South Carolina.

Period. It's not that they mind kings. They love kings. Kings are great to them, especially dictatorial type kings. They love those folks. 01:56 I love that. 01:59 So all of that BS that they put on over in the left, it is just for show. Let's take a listen to a little bit of King Charles here. 02:27 of Congress. have the high privilege and the Okay, now they're going to clap for another five minutes. It's all a bunch of BS from the folks on the left. It's just about Donald Trump. We don't like him. We do like kings. We like this one. Don't like the other one. So anyway, there you go. um 02:54 We did hear today that the Department of Justice, they've indicted Jim Comey for a second time. Yes, a second round of indictments is coming in for Jim Comey. He was indicted today. What was he indicted today for? Do you remember the photo? I'm not even making this up. Do you remember the photo that Jim Comey published on social media that said, 03:25 8647. was like seashells or rocks all put together and he said, I was just walking back home. I just taking a walk and I saw it. I thought it looked interesting so I posted it. I didn't think anything about it and then my wife told me what it meant and yada yada yada and we know that's a bunch of BS. We know that he meant to do that. We know that he was probably the one that arranged it. 03:52 He probably did that his own self. 03:55 But now they're trying, is another indictment by the Department of Justice that is absolutely going to go nowhere. It's not going anywhere.
