King on a Colt - Audio

from Chiangmai Christian Fellowship · host Tim Dunham

When we behold our King, we quickly see that His reign and His kingdom, and His Character are like no other King in all of all of the World through all of time! He will conquer every foe with no weapons of war. He will turn His worst enemies in to faithful followers. He is righteous and humble, He saves but through means of weakness not displays power and might. He brings unprecedented and unending peace to the whole earth. But, He is also pierced - killed by those He loves. His blood is a fountain by which those who seek His grace and mercy find cleansing from all their sin. How does one respond to a King like that? We rejoice - that is, we celebrate our coming King heralding His great victory and the great salvation He has accomplished. Rejoice in the past - the salvation that brought peace with God and is the basis of all peace between people. We look with great hope - to an even greater day of celebration - when He conquers every enemy - by destroying them, or saving them! We mourn and we grieve. We are to have great sorrow for what we have done to Him, as we look on Him and see the one we have pierced
