Kingdom 101

Rick Schaeffer brought a POWERFUL word this weekend! The Kingdom of God is at hand - what a powerful proclamation! This message delves deep into Mark 1:14-15, reminding us that we live in a unique moment where God's promises are being fulfilled. We're called to cultivate a sense of expectancy, looking for God's hand moving in ways He's promised. The arrival of Jesus changed everything, ushering in a new era where nothing is as it was. We're challenged to see beyond our circumstances and recognize that in Christ, we have access to a better mediator, a better king, and a better covenant. This isn't just about spiritual ease; it's about human flourishing in every aspect. As we grapple with our deepest longings for identity, justice, and purpose, we're reminded that these are actually longings for the Kingdom. How do we participate in this Kingdom? Through the gospel - not just knowing it, but actively believing and living it out daily. Let's be a people who walk by faith, continually looking to the cross and allowing its truths to transform our lives.
