Kingdom come

toll bell rang, the lights went dark As We reach the final stage A thousand souls were moving on To where time and judgment meet The departed walked up the stairs Donald shuffled into line Saint Peter calling out new souls While old Chronos marked the time Ring the bell, let the good souls come Peter studied down his list As the Donald pushed to the front This soul carried warning signs For the things a man should not So do you confess to all your sins Before you pass this gate? Or want the lift that’s heading down To the floor of endless fate? So Trump just laughed and shook his head Said I’ve done nothing wrong Don’t you know just who I am? This is where I belong [chorus] It’s party time at the pearly gates Happy hour for the all-time greats Welcome to the kingdom come Ring the bell, let the good souls come It’s party time at the pearly gates Where the happy songs are sung Welcome to our kingdom come Pass the test and party on [verse] Peter raised an eyebrow slow Turned a page and checked it twice He said son this ain’t your ride And heaven’s not a roll of dice The crowd fell quiet on the stair Every soul held their breath Because the bouncer at the door Raised a hand and said no more [Chorus] It’s party time at the pearly gates Happy hour for the all-time greats Welcome to our kingdom come Ring the bell, let the good souls come It’s party time at the pearly gates Where the happy songs are sung Welcome to our kingdom come Pass the test and party on [Verse] I’m sorry sir, your name’s not here For the things you’ve said and done You had a chance to make it right But you wasted every one So step aside and let them through You’re not welcome here no more Take the lift down to level H Where your kind go before [Bridge] Down the hall the elevator chimed Its doors slid open wide [Chorus] It’s party time at the pearly gates Happy hour for the all-time greats Welcome to our kingdom come Ring the bell, let the good souls come It’s party time at the pearly gates Happy hour for the all-time greats Welcome to our kingdom come Ring the bell, let the good souls come
