Kingdom Come | Week 4

PEACEThere will come a day when Jesus and His Kingdom will rule and reign without competing and conflicting values. Jesus, when he returns, will restore all of creation to its original intention. Without brokenness, pain, heartache, conflict,abuse, divorce, addiction. Sin. There will be joy like we cannot even begin to fathom in our present world. In the meantime, we are to reorient our lives in such a way where His Kingdom comes “on earth as it is in heaven.” And here’s the general rule: His Kingdom is anywhere Jesus is made King. May you know that one day, maybe real soon, his peace will not be challenged by the offer of the temporary “peace” of the world. May you know that the scriptures promises of a day very soon that all things will be made right will be truer than we could have ever imagined. He is coming. And bringing his peace, joy and salvation with Him.9 “This, then, is how you should pray:‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done,on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,but deliver us from the evil one.’ Matthew 6:9-13
