Kingdom Relationships - Sarah McCutcheon
from Hunter Christian Church · host Hunter Christian Church
The Kingdom of God simply means this: Jesus is King. When we choose to follow Jesus and live His way, His Kingdom becomes active in our lives. It is both a present reality and a future promise, alive in the hearts of believers today and fully revealed when Jesus returns. At its core, the Gospel invites us into relationship. In God’s Kingdom, nobody is alone. We are created for relationship, empowered by the Holy Spirit with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.For the first time in recent history - we have 7 generations alive today. God is also at work through generations and calls them by name. Every generation carries unique purpose, shaped by its time period, events, and God’s own calling. From Builders to Generation Alpha, each generation has something valuable to contribute. No generation replaces another - we need each other and are better together. As we reflect on this, we’re invited to ask: How can I avoid comparison that leads to pride and jealousy? How can I serve the generation before and after me? You were born for this moment, with a Kingdom purpose that matters - now and for eternity.
