Prophets foretold it - wars were fought for over it - people died for it - Jesus came to proclaim & establish it - and there remains much confusion around it. The King of Kings and His Kingdom. For much of Scene V through our study of Luke's Gospel account, this will be the big theme. The Kingdom of God that is here, near & coming. The Kingdom that is both the journey & the destination. In this sermon, we'll look at the historical, future & present perspective of the Kingdom. Through the text in Luke 13, we'll see: 1. the mystery & reality of the Kingdom [past] 2. the mystery surrounding who's in & who's not [future] 3. some straightforward implications for us all [present]
