Kingfisher Mining advances Copper Blow resource case

from Proactive - Interviews for investors · host Proactive Investors

Kingfisher Mining Ltd managing director Chris Bittar talked with Proactive about the latest high-grade copper-gold drilling results from the company’s Copper Blow project near Broken Hill, New South Wales. Reverse circulation drilling in the project’s North Zone returned a standout intersection of 26 metres at 2.57% copper and 0.75 g/t gold from 73 metres. This included 13 metres at 4.07% copper and 1.20 g/t gold, with a higher-grade interval of 4 metres at 7.06% copper and 2.38 g/t gold. A second drill hole intersected 43 metres at 1.32% copper and 0.32 g/t gold from surface, including 17 metres at 2.46% copper and 0.60 g/t gold from 16 metres. Bittar said the company was “very excited and very encouraged by these results”, highlighting the shallow, broad and continuous nature of the mineralised zones. He said the higher-grade sections were particularly important as Kingfisher Mining works towards a maiden mineral resource estimate for Copper Blow. The company plans to incorporate the latest results into its geological model and prepare for another drilling program combining reverse circulation and diamond drilling. Diamond core is expected to support metallurgical test work on the oxide, transitional and sulphide mineralisation identified at the project. Beyond the current mineralised envelope, geophysical targeting has identified additional anomalies along a largely untested four-kilometre magnetic trend, providing further exploration potential once the initial resource work is completed.
