Kingman City Council Approves Major Commercial Rezone

Send us a text and chime in!The Kingman City Council has approved one of the largest commercial rezones in recent years, paving the way for future economic development surrounding the planned Flying Fortress interchange. Approved on May 19, 2026, Ordinance No. 1997 rezones the project from a mix of residential, community commercial, and recreational open space zoning to C-3 (Commercial: Service Business). The project encompasses approximately 155 acres at the northeast corner of Louise Avenue and Flying Fortress, immediately adjacent to the future Interstate 40 Flying Fortress interchange.
