Kingman Petition Signatures Invalidated Due to Missing Text

Send us a text and chime in!On July 16, 2026, the Kingman City Clerk’s Office received 51 petition sheets containing 734 unverified signatures for referendum petition REF26-001, “Kingman Magforce Axe the Tax.” City Clerk Annie Meredith reviewed the petition sheets to determine compliance with Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) § 19-121. Based on her review and as outlined in A.R.S. § 19-121.01(A), it was determined that all 51 petition sheets and the subsequent 734 unverified signatures have been invalidated because a copy of the complete title and text of the measure was not attached as prescribed.
