Send us a text and chime in!The City of Kingman is reminding residents and businesses to keep cooking grease, oils, and food scraps out of sinks and drains to help prevent sewer backups and damage to the City’s sewer system. Commonly referred to as FOG, fats, oils, and grease from cooking may go down the drain as a liquid, but once it cools, it can harden inside sewer pipes. Over time, this buildup can block pipes and lead to sewer backups, unpleasant odors, overflows, and costly repairs for both homeowners and the City.
