Kingston Flemings Rising Star

Kingston Flemings, the electrifying 19-year-old point guard from Houston, is poised to be the top pick in the 2026 NBA Draft—thanks to his elite two-way game, jaw-dropping athleticism, and off-court leadership. Coached by Kelvin Sampson, Flemings thrived in a powerhouse program, overcoming initial hesitation to become the most decorated freshman in school history, averaging 16 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds while shooting efficiently from all ranges. With teams like the Sacramento Kings eyeing him at No. 7, Sampson insists Flemings’ intangible leadership and heart set him apart—though he admits the defensive transition to the NBA will be tough, expecting growth over time.
