Kirby at 100!
from Robots From Tomorrow! Hosted by Greg Matiasevich, Mike Romeo
In advance of Jack Kirby's 100th birthday next week, the lads talk about the King and try to take some stock of the body of work he left behind. How do you sum up the career of a man who combined blazing imagination with innate artistic ability and a determined work ethic for over five decades? Have the decades of Kirby clones and imitators made it harder for new fans to recognize the genius in Jack's work? What makes a successful interpretation of a Kirby property? All that and more on this week's episode! Robots From Tomorrow is a weekly comics podcast recorded deep beneath the Earth's surface.
