Kitaab Pe Charcha - Kafan & Slaughterhouse Five

For the year end we brought you two thought provoking novels. Kafan by Munshi Premchand & Slaughterhouse five by Kurt Vonnegut.  1. Aditya's pick Kafan, a short story written by Premchand and published in 1936 in Hindi. Kafan is a satire on the degradation of human beings and talks about a father and son duo who need money to cremate the son's wife after her premature death during childbirth. 2. Gourav's pick Slaughterhouse five, a novel published in the times of Vietnam war in the year 1969. It is the story of Biily Pilgrm, a decidedly non-heroic man who has become "unstuck in time." He travels back and forth in time, visiting his birth, death, all the moments in between repeatedly and out of order. We hope you'll will like this episode. Thanks for listening .
