Akdeniz’in mistik şehri Mersin’in Erdemli ilçesine bağlı tarihi bir kale olan Kız Kalesi (diğer adıyla Deniz Kalesi), deniz üzerinde yer alan 15,000 m²'lik adanın üzerine inşa edilmiş. Kıyıdan bakıldığında adeta bir serap görüyormuşçasına büyülü bir etki yaratan bu kalenin sahile uzaklığı 600 metre. Adanın büyük bir kısmını göz dolduran görkemli güzelliği ile kaplayan Kız Kalesi, buranın turistik beldesine de ismini vermiş.
