KJ Bolden Soars to Top 15 Safety | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

KJ Bolden, Georgia’s junior safety, just skyrocketed to 11 overall and 15 at safety on PFF’s 2026 top 50 college football list — a massive leap from last year’s 42 overall and 5 at safety. The top safety recruit in his class is already proving his worth: he led all returning safeties in value over the past two seasons, ranked second in overall grade, and racked up 59 tackles, 2 for loss, an interception, a sack, and a forced fumble in 14 games last year. Coach Smart praised his elite athleticism, instincts, and mental toughness, noting he’s been playing since age six. With Georgia’s safety room thin and Bolden already honored on the SEC All-Freshman Team, he’s primed to be a game-changer. Teammate Malaki Starks calls him hungry, coachable, and relentlessly improving — the kind of player who turns potential into dominance.
