His previous two books include THE COMEDIANS: DRUNKS, THIEVES, SCOUNDRELS AND THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN COMEDY and WE HAD A LITTLE REAL ESTATE PROBLEM: THE UNHERALDED STORY OF NATIVE AMERICANS AND COMEDY. Kliph has also appeared on screen in documentaries like THE HISTORY OF COMEDY, THE STORY OF LATE NIGHT, GEORGE CARLIN'S AMERICAN DREAM, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT COSBY and ALBERT BROOKS: DEFENDING MY LIFE.
