From Tragedy to Success: Local Immigrant Finds Success in Dallas Dallas Sun 11 May 2019, 10 GMT+10 In life, everyone faces difficulties that they must learn to overcome; though some people admittedly face more trials and tribulations than others. Qamar Zaman, a local immigrant living in Dallas, has faced his share of obstacles throughout his lifetime. Dallas business owners stand to learn a lot from this comeback story. Qamar Zaman triumphed over being born with a disability, surviving a natural disaster and living through a car accident. But he never let that stop him, and has become a vital part of the Dallas business community. A Revolutionary Business Mind of Today Bruce Lee once said, "Don't wish for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one." Having a strong mentality means triumphing over difficulties. Qamar Zaman, however, says that he didn't do it without the caring help of some awesome friends. He had the guidance of friends within Google, Microsoft and Yahoo who all contributed to his achieving the incredible success he has today, as a well-known digital marketer and storyteller. The Natural Disaster That Nearly Took His Life When Hurricane Ivan ravaged the Cayman Islands back in 2004, Qamar Zaman had to spend nearly 24 hours gripping the hooks within his garage so that the floodwater didn't go over his head and drown him. Unfortunately, Zaman had nothing left in the aftermath. But the hurricane didn t take his life, nor his drive to bounce back. It was a very scary moment for me, because I had lost everything, says Zaman. Within two weeks Zaman decided to return to Dallas and build a new life for himself in the city he still calls home. This also marked the beginning of KISS PR. Business Minds to Make It Happen Resilient people will always find a way to rise above their obstacles. When Zaman returned to Dallas, he immediately began to build connections with the local businesses. I was lucky enough to get good clients in Dallas, and those clients also became my mentors. My clients and mentors really became my growth factor, shares Zaman. When the time came, he founded a company known as KISS PR. This company has been responsible for helping over 1500 businesses, including many in Dallas, to tell their stories. After all, getting your story heard can sometimes be the most difficult part of doing business. Zaman has won multiple awards for his projects, and his approach has always been to rise above and beyond the fiercest of competition. This means working extra hours and doing the hard work that no one else wants to do. When it comes to business, Qamar Zaman has walked the walk, and he has gone the extra mile to ensure that he rises to the top as one of the best in the business. His life has not always been easy, but he has risen above and conquered, and for that Dallas is lucky to have him as one of our own. www.Story.kisspr.com @QamarZamanOfficial https://www.dallassun.com/newsr/9470 [email protected] https://kisspr.com
