Knee Slappers: Remembering Gene Hackman
from The Brothers Raskin Hosted by Ben Raskin
RIP Gene Hackman! The Brothers Raskin circle the proverbial wagon once again for a massive hour plus podcast. Brother Ben gives an update to his knee surgery. SPOILER: He's doing great. Brother Pat talks about hating on being bothered, the dangers of cell phones, and what kind of villain he'd like to be in a John Wick movie. The second half of the show (39:30) is dedicated to Gene Hackman. The Brothers play a game titled, "Sweet Six-Gene" as they go through the best Gene Hackman movies of all time. And yes, "Uncommon Valor" made the list. Play along and see if you agree with Patrick's selection. Save your thoughts and prayers and help the fundraiser. Donate to support kids in need—they need to raise $4,400 by August 1. DONATE HERE. Follow Ben on Instagram at BennyRaskin or at Bluesky.
