Knicks Draft Strategy in Flux
from NBA News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
The Knicks are poised to make waves in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft with three picks—but don’t count on them staying static. With rumors swirling about potential trades, especially around their No. 31 selection, their strategy could shift dramatically. Early picks might target scorers like Isaiah Evans or shooters like Ryan Cowell, while frontcourt depth could come from Felix Okpara or Trevon Brazile. Mid-round options include big men Izaiyah Nelson or wings like Bryce Hopkins, and late-round gems like Oscar Cluff or Aaron Nkrumah could offer steals. And yes, they might even trade away their first pick to dodge luxury tax—meaning their final roster could look very different than expected.
