It centers around two damaged people, burned by love, who discover that they may not have actually experienced love until now. This is a difficult book, with lots of hard emotions. Kris praises the writing, including Jackson's way with words and characterization, as well as the book's sense of humor. Run, don't walk, and get ready to feel something.
