Knocking On Heaven's Door #10: By One Sacrifice

What do we mean when we say “God is love”? The idea that God embraces us as we are and that his love for us compels and challenges us to perfection are not incompatible.  It is like a mother who loves her child as they are but wants them to grow and develop as a person. God receives us as we are so we can eventually be complete and perfect in Him. We should strive to think about Christ every minute.
