Know the Word - Do the Word

Hard times can make disobedience feel excusable, but James tells suffering Christians to keep obeying God. They must listen quickly, speak carefully, resist anger, and humbly receive the word God plants in them. Hearing without action is self-deception. God's word exposes sin like a mirror and leads to mercy, purity, and care for people in distress.
