“How can a man or woman, in our present fallen sinful state, stand in front of a perfect God? We can’t. The only way to be able to approach God the Father is through Jesus His Son. Jesus has paid the whole price that it took for us to become right with God. We cannot achieve it any other way. This is at the base of our understanding to even approach God. It is at the very base of our existence. To be one with God. To be right with God. To have right-standing with God. How can we begin to understand the truth of ourselves when we do not know God’s truth? We will certainly be deceived any other way. This righteousness (or right-standing with God) is found only in Jesus. He brought us eternal life. He brought us to the Father. And, brought the Father to us. We are laying a foundation for this series. It is the foundation of truth for us all. We receive God’s provided grace through faith.
