Cast your inner eye toward the clutter inside, Prepare to look for the beliefs that don’t serve you.   You’re not required to keep them if they’re not earning their keep. Some ideas aren’t meant to be yours forever.   PAUSE… If you’re honest, you’ve known this day was coming. You’ve felt it for months, maybe years. But when it’s easier to look away than face the mess, It’s human nature to ignore the steady ache.   That strategy can work for a good long time, Long enough to forget there’s a problem. At some point, however, the mess will expand, Making it harder to point your attention elsewhere.   PAUSE… You’ll see signs in every direction, Hints that something’s not working as it should. You’ll feel the unease in your body, And carry the weight in your heart.   You’ll even glimpse hints in the world around you, As troubles seem to inexplicably multiply.
