Knowledge vs. Revelation | Dennis Beers
from Kairos Church Hosted by kairoschurch
What if all the sensory knowledge and factual observation in your life tell you a problem is impossible to solve, but a deeper revelation could instantly show you the truth that sets you free? Pastor Dennis begins this message in an intriguing way, by using a physical puzzle to demonstrate how sensory knowledge can limit understanding, while revelation provides the insight necessary to solve the problem easily. He goes on to explain that faith is a revelation of the truth that changes how you live your life. And this is illustrated in the Scriptural accounts of the healing of the demon-possessed boy (Mark 9:14-29) and Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). Finally, in this message, Pastor Dennis shows us three sources of revelation—the Spirit of God, the Word of God, and God-given life experiences—and encourages us to seek deeper revelation to live the abundant life promised by Christ.
