Knowledge@ASB: It's Complicated!

Business leaders and policymakers are grappling with seemingly insurmountable issues. Think climate change, the situation in Afghanistan, population ageing or saturated markets. Some complex issues can’t be definitively resolved – and attempts to fix them may actually make them worse.  So, how can complexity be managed? Rather than tossing complex problems in the old too-hard basket, multiple approaches and new mindsets are required. Thought leaders suggest it’s time for a rethink.
