KNX In Depth: Hurricane Ian lashes Florida--Katie Couric breast cancer treatment--Alzheimer's drug shows promise--Bill O'Reilly talks politics, midterm elections and his new book

from Rising from the Ashes

Hurricane Ian finally slams into Florida. It's now smashing into the southwest part of the state in the Fort Myers area as a Category 4 storm with winds of about 150 miles an hour. There's already been power outages, flooding and storm surges in the region. We go In Depth into what damage it might do to Florida. A couple million people have been told to evacuate but some people are staying home to weather this colossal storm. We talk to a relative of mine who's doing just that in the Tampa area.  Russia is trying to keep people from leaving the country while the U.S. is trying to get its own citizens out. We look into why. Katie Couric announced she's been treated for breast cancer but it may have been caught earlier if not for the pandemic. A new study shows some promise for a new drug to treat Alzheimer's Disease. We go In Depth into what it shows and when it might be available for people. Bill O'Reilly joins us. The former Fox News host will share his thoughts on what's happening in Washington D.C. and discuss his new book about the deaths of three major celebrities.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
