KNX In Depth: Oil refineries warned over record high gas prices--Russia attacks western Ukraine--President Biden speaks to China's leader--"Crime tourism" on the rise
Western Ukraine has escaped the worst of Russia's invasion of the country. The region has been mostly calm....until now. Russian forces launched a barrage of missiles on the outskirts of Lviv, a key city in that part of the country. We go In Depth to take you to Lviv for reaction. We'll also take you to another city in Ukraine that's been under constant attack from the start of the war. One woman there says she hears warplanes everyday. President Biden has a long chat with China's leader over the war. Can the president stop China from supporting Russia? Vladimir Putin held a big rally today in Moscow to drum up support for the invasion, which he isn't calling an invasion. We go In Depth into whether peace can be achieved quickly if he's ramping up the war rhetoric. Gas prices keep setting records here in California even with oil prices headed down. The state attorney general told refineries to behave but will they? Gangs of thieves have been breaking into homes up and down California. They're not from around there though. We tell you about something called "crime tourism." To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
