The Earth hits a major milestone today. The United Nations says we now have 8 billion people on the planet. That's the most ever. Much of the growth is actually coming from sub-Saharan Africa in places like Nigeria, Congo and Ethiopia. That has some people wondering about environmental impacts. But many experts say the big problem is still consumption which is a much larger issue in developed countries.
