Kohler's Decision: Kentucky vs BYU | BYU Cougars Basketball News

Jaxon Kohler, the six-foot-ten Michigan State transfer and former four-star recruit, is set to announce his decision today — choosing between Kentucky and BYU. Just granted eligibility after a court ruling, this move could reshape both programs. Kentucky, led by coach Mark Pope — who once recruited Kohler at BYU — has made a major push, even hosting a lengthy Zoom call. If Kohler joins, he’d bring elite shooting and rebounding to Kentucky’s roster, addressing key needs. But returning home to BYU under Kevin Young is also a strong draw. Meanwhile, Kentucky’s pursuit of Missouri’s Mark Mitchell may shift if Kohler commits — since Kohler’s skill set complements Mitchell’s defensive strengths. The decision could have ripple effects across both teams — and we’ll know soon which way Kohler leans. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
