Kolby Branch Heads to World Stage

Kolby Branch, Georgia Bulldogs’ shortstop, just snagged a dream invite to USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team training camp — the first Bulldog to earn it since 2024. Among 56 elite prospects, he’ll battle for a spot on the squad heading to Taiwan for the historic first-ever World Collegiate Baseball Championship, July 11–15. Branch, a two-way force with a .291 average, 20 homers, and a Gold Glove, capped his Bulldog career with a College World Series home run. With nearly every game under his belt in three seasons, this is his final chance to shine before graduation — and maybe even represent the U.S. on a global stage.
