Op donderdag 19 oktober stond de mogelijke komst van windturbines naar de Noorder IJ Plas op het programma van provinciale staten. Want behalve de gemeenteraad van Amsterdam, moeten ook zij toestemming geven voor het plaatsen van de 200 meter hoge turbines aan de Noorder IJ Plas En ze namen er de tijd voor, want de vergadering duurde maar liefst ruim 5,5 uur en dat kwam vooral ook doordat er ongeveer 15 mensen inspraken
