KPop Demon Hunters!

Hi friends!In this episode we had a totally normal conversation about the movie KPop Demon Hunters! We discussed the queer allegory within Rumi's story, as well as our feelings about the different themes with shame, self-acceptance, vulnerability, and healthy or unhealthy connections to people.We also talked about the Korean mythology and lore woven into the story and the way the KPop elements blended with that to give us a beautiful and dynamic depiction of very classic story elements in a modern setting. We even talked about the presentation of fans and fandom in this movie and the way it celebrates fans and associates them with moral good.Overall, we had a great time watching this movie and a blast talking about it, and we're really excited to hear your opinions on it as well!
